Deanne reynolds (SAG member) started her singing career at the age of 11. Her "Asbestos Song", accompanied by a Casio keyboard, shocked her middle school audience with it's subversive and timely lyrics. A parent in the audience happened to be a reporter for a local paper, which landed Ms. Reynolds both on the cover of the paper, and into a stint of suspension. Her ex-roadie father straightened out the principal, and the rest is history.
Deanne continued to sing in local bands in Berkeley, Chicago, LA, and most recently, in Brooklyn, NY. Settling in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Deanne met up with producer Tim K (Les Nubians, Esthero, Colette) and they started the DEDE project. Their demos got into the hands of a few interested A&R's and recently landed her a feature track on the IFC show "Dinner with the Band". Learn more
